Apple Berry Crumble

INGREDIENTS

4 - Apples, peeled and finely diced


1 tb - Coconut flakes


1 cup - Blueberries, fresh or frozen


½ cup - Almond meal


2 tb - Butter, unsalted


1 tb - Coconut sugar


½ tsp - Cinnamon


1 cup - Rolled oats


¼ cup - Walnuts, chopped

UTENSILS

Oven, Baking dish, Food processor, Chopping board, Knife

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.


2. Combine the apple pieces, coconut flakes and berries in a baking dish.


3. Place 1 teaspoon of the almond meal, oats and walnuts in the food processor. Blend it into a flour. Remove and set aside.


4. Place the almond meal, butter, sugar and cinnamon in the food processor and pulse until it resembles breadcrumbs. Stir through the oat and walnut flour to combine.


5. Cover the fruit mixture with almond and oat crumble.


6. Bake for 30 minutes in the oven until the apple is tender and the crumble topping is golden and crunchy.


7. Serve.
