
Apple and Oat Kheer

INGREDIENTS
⅔ cup - Rolled oats, uncooked
2 medium - Red apples, with skin, grated
4 nuts - Walnut, unsalted, chopped
2 cups - Low fat milk
UTENSILS
Non-stick pan, Chopping board, Knife
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Mix the oats, grated apples and chopped walnuts in a bowl. Set aside.
2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the mixture and low fat milk to the pan. Bring to a boil while stirring occasionally.
3. Lower the heat and cook for another 4-5 minutes while continuously stirring. Remove the cooked oats from the heat.
4. Garnish with the crushed walnuts. Serve it warm.
