INGREDIENTS

400ml - Low fat milk


½ cup - Water


1 ½ tsp - Tea leaves


2 tb - Cardamom


2 tb - Ginger, minced


1 tb - Black peppercorns


2 - Star anise


2 - Cinnamon sticks

UTENSILS

Pan, Sieve, Chopping board, Knife

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Roast the cardamom, star anise, cinnamon sticks and black peppercorns in a pan for 2-3 minutes. Stir frequently to avoid burning.


2. Pour the milk and water into a pot. Add the whole spices and fresh ginger.


3. Warm slowly to allow the spices to infuse. Add the tea leaves when hot.


4. Steep on low heat for 3-5 minutes and stir occasionally. Sieve and serve.
