French Toast with Fruit Berries

INGREDIENTS
1 pc - Large egg, whole, fresh
¼ cup - Soy milk, plain, low fat
1 tsp - Vanilla extract
4 slices - Loaf Bread, whole-wheat, commercially prepared
1 tb - Butter, without salt
2 tb - Syrup, maple, pure
1 cup - Mixed berries, frozen
UTENSILS
Non-stick frying pan, Bowl
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Whisk the egg, soy milk and vanilla in a bowl. Dip both sides of bread in the egg mixture.
2. Melt the butter in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Fry the bread on both sides until golden brown.
3. Transfer into a serving plate, drizzle with a tbsp of maple syrup and serve with mixed berries on the side.
