
Grilled Beef and Bread with Edamame

INGREDIENTS
400g - Beef sirloin steak, lean, raw
2 tb - Rosemary, fresh
1 tb - Thyme, fresh
½ tb - Salt
½ tb - Black pepper
2 tsp - Cumin seeds
2 tb - Olive oil
2 cup - Edamame, frozen
1 tb - Butter, without salt
1 tb - Basil, fresh, finely chopped
1 tb - Lime juice
4 pcs - Mixed grain breads, toasted
UTENSILS
Knife, Chopping board, Non-stick grill pan, Saucepan, Bowl
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine the olive oil, rosemary, thyme, cumin, ¼ tsp salt and ¼ tsp black pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
2. Rub the oil and herb mixture over the beef to coat. Set aside.
3. Heat a non-stick grill pan over high heat. Add the beef cover and grill until well-seared, about 5 minutes. Turn the meat, cover and grill until well-seared on the second side, another 5 minutes. Let it cool and slice into strips. Set aside.
4. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the edamame and sauté for 6-8 minutes.
5. Add the basil and lime juice, stir to combine. Season with ¼ tsp each of salt and pepper to taste.
6. Arrange the sliced grilled beef on serving plates with the cooked edamame and toasted mixed grain bread on the side.
