INGREDIENTS

1 cup - Steel cut oats


1 cup - Mixed vegetables, peas and corn, frozen


100g - Green beans, raw, cut small


½ onion - Onion, raw, diced


½ medium - Tomato, raw, chopped


2 medium - Green chilies, raw, slit into 2


½ tsp - Ginger paste


½ tsp - Garlic paste


¼ tsp - Turmeric powder


½ tsp - Chili powder


2 tsp - Vegetable oil


2 cups - Water

UTENSILS

Pan, Chopping board, Knife

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Dry roast the oats on medium to low heat for about 2-3 minutes. Set aside.


2. Heat the pan with the cooking oil. Add the onion and sauté for a few minutes until it becomes translucent.


3. Add the green chilies, tomato, ginger and garlic paste. Sauté until everything is mixed well.


4. Add the chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and vegetables. Stir fry over low heat until the vegetables are cooked.


5. Add two cups of water and bring to a boil.


6. Add oats and cook over medium heat until the oats are cooked. Ready to serve.
