Oat Dosa

INGREDIENTS

½ cup - Oats


¼ cup - Rice flour


½ cup - Semolina, uncooked


¼ tsp - Salt


1 tsp - Ginger, raw, finely chopped


6 - Green chilies, raw, chopped


½ tsp - Cumin seeds


2 - Onions, raw, chopped


5g - Curry leaves, chopped


1 cup - Water


1 tsp - Vegetable oil

UTENSILS

Grinder, Mixing bowl, Non-stick pan, Chopping board, Knife

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a grinder jar, add the oats and grind it into fine powder.


2. In a mixing bowl, add the oat powder, rice flour, semolina, cumin, curry leaves, ginger, green chilies, onions, coriander leaves and water. Stir to mix well to form a runny batter. Keep this aside for 15 minutes.


3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the cooking oil.


4. Take a ladle full of batter and pour it from the side to the center.


5. Once the base of the dosa becomes crisp and golden, flip and cook the other side.


6. Once this side is cooked and crisp, flip again. Fold the dosa and remove it from the pan.


7. Cook the remaining oat dosa in a similar way.


8. Serve hot with chutney.
