One Pot Beef and Orzo Pasta

INGREDIENTS
1 tb - Canola oil
360g - Beef, tenderloin steak, boneless, lean only
2 cloves - Garlic, raw
1 tsp - Oregano, dried
¼ tsp - Table salt
¼ tsp - Black pepper
1 can (14.5 oz) - Soup, beef broth, lower sodium
168g - Whole wheat orzo pasta
1 pc - Medium carrots, raw
¼ cup - Green peas, frozen, raw
2 pcs - Small tomatoes, red, ripe, raw
UTENSILS
Chopping board, Knife, Large deep skillet with lid
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Season the beef strips with salt, pepper and dried oregano.
2. Heat the canola oil in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned beef strips and stir fry until beef turns brown about 2-4 minutes.
3. Add the garlic, green peas and carrots and sauté for 2 minutes.
4. Add the low sodium beef broth, whole wheat pasta and tomatoes. Stir and cover for 7- 10 minutes or until the orzo pasta is al dente.
5. Dish up and serve.
