
Stir-fried Chicken Liver

INGREDIENTS
300g - Chicken liver
1 tb - Vegetable oil
1 tb - Garlic, crushed
1 tb - Ginger, crushed
3 - Tomatoes, quartered
¼ cup - Red capsicum, cubed
¼ cup - Yellow capsicum, cubed
½ tsp - Turmeric
¼ tsp - Cumin
¼ tsp - Salt
1 tb - Curry powder
1 tsp - Ground paprika
3 - Spring onions, chopped
UTENSILS
Small pot, Pan, Chopping board, Knife
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Boil the chicken liver in a pot for 5 minutes. Discard the water and set aside. Cut the chicken liver into bite-size pieces.
2. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion. Sauté for 2 minutes.
3. Add the tomato and capsicums. Sauté for 2 minutes.
3. Add the chicken liver, turmeric, cumin, salt, curry powder and paprika. Sauté for 2 minutes.
4. Garnish with the spring onions.
5. Serve with rice or mashed potato.
