Stir-fried Palak Paneer

INGREDIENTS

4 tsp - Vegetable oil


½ tsp - Cumin seeds


2 small - Red onions, finely chopped


4 cloves - Garlic, finely chopped


2 medium - Green chilies, finely chopped


1 dash - Salt


240g - Cottage cheese (paneer), reduced fat, finely chopped


½ tsp - Coriander powder


¼ tsp - Turmeric powder


¼ tsp - Garam masala


3 tb - Water


500g - Spinach, chopped

UTENSILS

Pan with lid, knife, chopping board

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and temper for 30 seconds.


2. Add the chopped onions, garlic and green chilies. Stir and cook for 3 minutes until the onions become translucent.


3. Add the finely chopped paneer. Mix well.


4. Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Add 3 tablespoons of water and cook the spices for 1 minute over medium heat. Stir to combine.


5. Add the chopped spinach into the pan. Stir to combine.


6. Cover the pan with a lid, set the heat to low-medium and cook for around 4 minutes.


7. Serve.
