
Turmeric Chicken

INGREDIENTS
250g - Chicken breast, skinless and boneless, cut into strips
1 tsp - Turmeric powder
2 tsp - Oyster sauce
1 tb - Vegetable oil
½ - Onion, sliced
2 - Red chilies, deseeded and cut into thick strips
400g - French beans, cut into 2-inch strips
3 tb - Water
¼ tsp - Sugar
¼ tsp - Salt
UTENSILS
Wok, Bowl, Chopping board, Knife
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder and oyster sauce. Set aside for 15 minutes.
2. Heat the oil in a wok over medium heat. Add the onion. Stir fry the onion until translucent.
3. Add the chicken and stir fry for a minute.
4. Add the red chilies and French beans. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
5. Add the water to the wok. Cook for 2 minutes.
6. Add the sugar and salt. Continue to stir until the chicken is cooked.
7. Serve with steamed brown rice.
